While completing graduate school in 2010, Dana launched her interior design studio in Los Angeles by taking on her first solo project: a commercial storefront office remodel, just steps away from the entrance to the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland. Having worked forĀ interior design luminaries Ruthie Sommers and Kelly Wearstler (internship) gave the Michigan native just the right dose of inspiration and confidence required to say yes to the job and every one thereafter. Dana specializes in residences, commercial spaces and everything in between.
As a former professional actor, one of her greatest passions has always been people and getting to really know them, their character and idiosyncrasies. Creating bespoke interiors that speak to the interests of her clients and reflect their personalities is her joy and strength as an experienced interior designer. She draws from many influences, always producing forward-thinking personalized spaces.
In 2011, Dana moved back to West Michigan and now resides on the lakeshore in North Muskegon. She currently works on local design projects as well as ones throughout the country. In her free time, she loves on her family as much as possible.
Dana holds a Master of Interior Architecture degree from the nationally reputable CIDA-accredited joint program at UCLA and CalPoly. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Theatre at the University of Michigan (1998).
